Corrections to Heneage Finch's Transcriptions

Admittedly, my handwriting is very messy and almost impossible to decipher. Heneage and his uncle, Charles, made corrections and edits along with rewriting my work to make my poems legible. After they would finish, I would make my final corrections. I had a dreadful habit of pinning new scraps of paper over old writings when I wanted to change something. Very confusing I would assume to someone who isn’t in my head.

Miscellany Poems on Several Occasions Title Page

This is the title page of the book of poems I published entitled Miscellany Poems, on Several Occasions. My book was published in London in 1713. The book was sold by Benjamin Tooke at the Middle-Temple Gate. William Taylor also sold my book in Pater-Noster-Row and James Round in Exchange Alley, Cornhill. I finally gained permission to print this collection, so I am thoroughly excited to share it with the public.
